OUR BRAND NEW CATERING KITCHEN
OUR GOALS
More Space
Create an expanded space for Kindred Kitchen staff to prepare catering orders.
More Training
Create a space that allows for deeper integration of our job training programs.
More Catering
Increase the output of our catering operations and allow to expand our offered catering services.
Now We Are Cooking!
Housing Hope and HopeWorks is proud to announce the completion of our brand new expansive culinary kitchen, at our HopeStation housing community. Designed as one part kitchen expansion, one part event banquet hall, this addition to our offerings in Everett is just one way we are continuing to invest locally in job training and other wrap around services for those looking to find lasting stability.
The Past
An expanded culinary kitchen at HopeStation has been in the works for quite a while now. Through many generous donations, including a very generous grant through The Gates Foundation, funding was secured and construction began. Construction was completed on March 6th, 2025 and final testing began for all appliances and fixtures installed at the new culinary kitchen.
The Present
The culinary kitchen is part of a 5,000 sq ft expansion at HopeStation. This new space will facilitate the establishment of multiple new job training pathways, focused on key aspects of food service and catering operations. Additionally, the kitchen will greatly expand the capacity of Kindred Kitchen’s day to day and catering business. New services such as hot plate catering are also being discussed, which are only possible thanks to the expanded kitchen.
The Future
The culinary kitchen is only the first phase of this expansion. A full banquet hall for use as both a job training resource and event hosting space is planned in the larger space. When paired with the current rental space opportunities provided through the Weinberg Room and primary Kindred Kitchen café, this latest expansion expands our capacity to host events, gather together as a community, and offer more services to our neighbors in the community at large.
